Paneer Shashlik

Ingredients:

  • Paneer – 100 gm cut into cubes
  • Bell peppers (Red, Green, Yellow) – 1 ½ cups cut into cubes
  • Onion – ½ cup cut into cubes

For Marinade:

  • Hung curd – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 tsp
  • Tandoori masala – ½ tsp
  • Black pepper pd – ¼ tsp
  • Paprika pd – 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
  • Tomato puree – 1 tbsp
  • Tomato ketchup – ½ tsp
  • Garam masala – ¼ tsp
  • Corn flour – 1 tbsp
  • Egg white – 1
  • Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Mix all the ingredients for marinade in a bowl and mix it well.
  2. Add paneer, bell peppers and onions in it and mix it well with the marinade.
  3. Keep aside for 2 hrs or more in the refrigerator.
  4. Now skewers the veggies and paneer alternatively on skewers or tooth picks.
  5. Heat non-stick grill pan and drizzle little oil on it.
  6. Put the skewer on a hot grill pan.
  7. When you feel that it sticks on pan, brush it will little oil and cook it from both the sides.
  8. When done, arrange it on a serving dish and enjoy with green chutney and lemon wedges.

TIP: Before using wooden skewers, soak it in water for atleast 15 min. otherwise they will burn while cooking.
