For the cookie dough:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup castor sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla essence

  • A pinch of salt
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

  • 2 tbsp chopped walnuts, optional

Method

  1. In a bowl, cream softened butter, brown sugar, and castor sugar until light and smooth.

  4. Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and combine gently.
