- 1 tsp instant yeast

- 1 tbsp milk powder, optional
- 1 tbsp oil or melted butter
- ½ cup warm milk or warm water, as required
For topping:
- 1 tbsp milk for brushing
- Sesame seeds
- 1 tsp butter for brushing after baking
Method
- In a bowl, mix flour, instant yeast, sugar, salt, and milk powder.
- Add oil or melted butter and mix lightly.
- Slowly add warm milk or water and knead into a soft dough.
- Knead the dough until it becomes smooth, soft, and elastic.
- Cover and keep it for proofing until the dough becomes light and doubles in volume.
- Once proofed, gently punch the dough and divide it into equal portions.
- Shape each portion into a smooth round bun by tucking the edges underneath.
- Place the buns on a greased or lined baking tray with enough space between them.
- Cover and allow them to proof again until they look light and puffy.
- Brush the tops gently with milk and sprinkle sesame seeds.
