Here is a small glimpse of what you will learn in the class.
Ingredients
For the pizza base:
- 1 pizza base, homemade or freshly prepared
- 2–3 tbsp pizza sauce
- ½ cup mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup capsicum, sliced
- ¼ cup onion, sliced
- ¼ cup sweet corn, optional
- Mixed herbs and chilli flakes
For the tandoori paneer topping:
- ½ cup paneer cubes
- 2 tbsp hung curd
- ½ tsp ginger-garlic paste
- ½ tsp red chilli powder
- ¼ tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp garam masala
- ½ tsp kasuri methi
- ½ tsp lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp oil
For finishing:
- Cheese as required
- Fresh coriander
- Tandoori mayo or mint mayo, optional
Method
- In a bowl, mix hung curd, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric, garam masala, kasuri methi, lemon juice, salt, and oil.
- Add paneer cubes and coat them well with the marinade. Rest for 10–15 minutes.
- Lightly cook or sauté the marinated paneer until the masala coats the paneer beautifully.
- Place the pizza base on a tray or tawa.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly on the base.
- Add mozzarella cheese, capsicum, onion, corn, and tandoori paneer pieces.
- Sprinkle mixed herbs and chilli flakes.
- Add more cheese on top if desired.
- Bake in a preheated oven or cook on a covered tawa until the base is cooked and the cheese melts.
- Finish with fresh coriander and a drizzle of tandoori mayo or mint mayo.
